Let’s just say that the double-decker Megabus (right, in blue) is really more of a novelty than a treat. The ceilings are low, there are no overhead bins on the upper level (I’m not sure about the lower level) and it seems to sway a bit on the road. The Wi-Fi was not fully operable on this run and there were still no power plugs.
It is possible, however, that the leg room was more generous than a conventional Megabus. And there are flip-down armrests between the seats. I did note that the dream seats in the front row of the upper deck had tiny cup holders, as did the second row of seats on the right-hand side of the aisle (next to the front stairwell).
(The photo is not from today’s ride.)
