The Tiny Fun Tree is showing some new growth. I’m not sure if I’ve posted about it before, but Melissa received this little tree at the ball she attended for school a couple months ago. (So far, the only result had been yet another partially used bag of potting soil I’ll eventually bequeath to my folks.)
I’m sure my parents recall the last time I brought home a cute little sapling like this from the Boy Scout Jamboree.
Actually, I think the last one I brought home was lost in a failed attempt at bonzai. The one that wound up in the garden was about 15 years old before it split and nearly crashed through my mom’s walk-in closet. I don’t think this one would have fit in our apartment.
Now you can get a tiny bird to live in the tiny tree in the tiny fun house. (doesn’t this end up with a little old lady swallowing a fly?)
Thanks for the memories! I had forgotten that the tree that split in half was started from one of your little saplings!
