Maybe Gerberas

Since I always buy gerberas for my classroom I thought maybe they are too casual for centerpieces....but they are so happy! And you can get them online in a billion colors. I thought my theme was going to be "Urban Sleek" but instead my theme is going to be "Happy and Stripey."

Wedding Connections

I got word last night that my contract with the Panthers is not being renewed since my game winning punt was blocked by some woman running from the stands in a nightgown.
Also, neither Hootie nor the Blowfish is returning my calls, so they might not be a shoe-in for the reception.
But don't despair, I have new banjo strings and the African drum arrives tomorrow.

I wanted my name to be Lindsay for obvious reasons, by it said that was not allowed. Therefore, I am now Linds MoH. So what did everyone think of Law and Order tonight? That lawyer was so sleazy. Oh...is that not what this is for?

The engagement is quite exciting. I have enjoyed my duties as MOH so far, including but not limited to, taking pictures of possible reception locations and purchasing bridal magazines. Both locations were excellent, although the Museum of the New South does have an amazing staircase (and a musical parking deck) No matter what, this wedding is going to be beautiful and I am so excited.

Welcome to my first post. I have just returned from an exciting weekend in Charlotte. So exciting, in fact, that I had to pull over on the way home to take a nap in a Food Lion parking lot.

The wedding planning is now underway. MOH, MOB and I scouted some potential reception sites. I bought some more magazines. I dare not reveal my top choice for the reception in case it doesn't work out...

We're just over one week into the engagement, and planning seems to be well underway. I'm setting up this Weblog for Melissa and her mother as a means of communication, as a running history of the impending union and as a source of personal amusement.
