With all of the parents and the MOH gathered in Charlotte, we spent our long weekend checking out the ceremony and reception locations, as well as possibilities for the rehearsal dinner. Now we are watching
Ellen. Looks like the MOB is pretty worn out, and the BTB is hitting the piano.

Ok, this post has been up for nearly 4 days without a single comment. Since this photo has now made me laugh out loud like 10 times, I felt a need to post my praise for this sepia-toned wonder. Plus des photos!
What's so funny about our family photo????
I am eating sloppy joes and I just can't stop!!!!
That doesn't have anything to do with the picture, but it's true.
Oh, and leave it to Lindsay to spoil the photo with her anachronistic sunglasses.
The anachronisms don't end there. Instead of looking Harriet to Pete's carefully costumed Ozzy, Melissa appears to be an amish Laura Ingles Wilder. In addition, the MOH appears to be sporting the ever classy I'm-just-back-from-Nantucket look. Frontier meets Pleasantville meets Jackie-O.
Oh, and to the FOB, fear not, for it is not the family photo itself that is funny. I see nothing funny about capturing the obvious joy of familial moments - as this photo certainly brims with. It's the sepia - that color just kills me every time! Oh, sepia...heh heh.
The sepia was necessary to block the deCastrique red-eye. -P
Its true, for years the deCastriques have been plagued by the "deCastrique red-eye." In fact, rumor has it thats what took out many a frontier-dwelling early Americans. It should have been one of the consequences on Oregon Trail. Oregon Trail? Anybody? Remember having to ford the stream?
You all decided on Sepia for the weddings photos right?
I think sepia for the wedding photos is certainly neccessary for the safety of viewers.
An example both of the deCastrique red-eye and a potential conflict of interest in the upcoming BT/Kellye nuptials.
