I'm opposed to social dancing, as it encourages licentious behaviour like "having fun." I hope there will be no further discussions of such matters, especially discussion of formalized instruction in dancing technique - which I prefer to properly refer to as "taught evil."
Not to worry. The MOB will consider it part of her duties to keep a watchful eye on ScottyB at the reception to be certain he does not compromise his high moral standards by participating in dancing and partaking of strong drink.
By the way, I am preparing a chart we can use to determine MOB's skepticism of any given idea by the number of "m"s in her "hmmmm"s and the level of resolution/reserved judgment based on the presence/absence of ellipsis afterward.
For instance: "Hmmmmmm...." indicates significant skepticism (raised eyebrow), but reserved judgment, pending additional information--while "Hmmmmm." indicates less skepticism, but carries an air of finality. There's a mathematical formula there somewhere.

Right...
I heard there was dancing.
Hmmmmmm....MOB
There is nothing wrong with dancing.
"There is nothing wrong with dancing [lessons before the wedding]" was what Pete meant.
Where did you get the cute picture of Lindsay?

Oh, mother. I know you are trying to ruffle my feather, but I know that YOU know that's not Lindsay. Her cheeks weren't nearly as fat.
And she also didn't have hair like MOB's little pumpkin.
Didn't look like ScottyB was too "opposed to...dancing" on Saturday night.
His dancing really reflects his magnetic personality, wouldn't you say?
Hmmmmm. Any photos?
Unfortunately, no.
