Maybe Gerberas
Since I always buy gerberas for my classroom I thought maybe they are too casual for centerpieces....but they are so happy! And you can get them online in a billion colors. I thought my theme was going to be "Urban Sleek" but instead my theme is going to be "Happy and Stripey."

I think they are beautiful and would work well in sleek also. They are simple and it really depends what you put them into. Geometric glass vase or wicker basket and the look changes.
